Formula Each capsule contains: Active ingredients Sodium chondroitin sulfate 100 mg Retinol palmitate 2500 I.U. Choline hydrogen tartrate 25 mg Riboflavin 5 mg Thiamine hydrochloride 20 mg Excipients Tocopherol, lactose, colloidal anhydrous silica, glucose, magnesium stearate and green capsule shell.

Indications Fatigue of eyes, keratitis, ophthalmoplegia, amblyopia during lactation, nyctalopia, nutritional supplements in decreased vision.
Contra-indications Hypersensitivity to any component of the drug. Do not concomitantly administer with other medications containing vitamin A.
Dosage and Administration Adults: one capsule; once or twice a day. Children from 12 years old: one capsule a day.
Warnings Dose of vitamin A should not exceed by 5000 I.U. a day in pregnant women due to the danger of inducement of congenital malformation.
Precautions - Recommended dosage and administration should be observed. - It should be administered to children under an adult's guidance. - It should be kept out of the reach of children. - The adequate amount of vitamin A usually obtained from dietary sources, therefore, dose of vitamin A should not exceed 5000 I.U. a day. - Persons who are under treatment by doctors and pregnant women should consult with doctors or pharmacists before administration of the product.
Side effects Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, pruritus. When these symptoms are diagnosed, discontinue and consult with doctors or pharmacists. Inform your doctors side effects, if any, during the treatment with TOBICOM.
Drug interactions Neomycin, cholestyramine, liquid paraffin may reduce the body’s ability to absorb vitamin A. Oral contraceptives increase plasma levels of vitamin A. It should not be used by women who want to get pregnant. This drug should not be taken while using isotretinoin.
Overdosage In case of overdose, it may cause melosalgia, hypersensitivity, delpilation, anorexia, loss of weight, headache, diarrhea, vomiting. If the symptoms occur, discontinue and consult your doctors or pharmacists.
Pharmacokinetic Sodium chondroitin sulphate increase stability of intracellular collagen, therefore, it stabilizes the neuron of ocular muscles, eyeslash muscle,etc..and maintains the stability of transparent in terstic, and restores or maintains the flexibility of hardened optic lens. Choline bitartrate, retinol palmitate, thiamine hydrochloride and riboflavin are as essential vitamins for the development and maintenance of epithelial tissue, and for vision, they restore the function of ocular muscles, protect cornea and prevent from aging of eyes.
Pharmacodynamic Oral administration of sodium chondroitin sulphate produces a peak of serum level at 6-8 hours with detectable levels persisting for 24 hours. Urinary excretion after administration from 50 to 60 percent and sodium chondroitin sulphate is as a mucopolysaccharide which is constituent of most mammalian cartilaginous tissues.
