Formula Each enteric-coated tablet contains serratiopeptidase 10 mg and excipients q.s. (lactose, corn starch, povidone, L-HPC, magnesium stearate and film-coated excipients).
Dosage form Enteric-coated tablets.
Presentation Box of 1 packet x 10 blisters x 10 enteric-coated tablets.
Indications Postoperative and traumatic inflammation. Anti-inflammatory effects associated with following disease. - Otorhinolauryngology: sinusitis. - Gynecology: congestive breast. - Urology: cystitis, epididymitis. - Dentistry and oralogy: periodonititis of wisdom tooth. Expectorant failure of the following disease: bronchitis, bronchial asthma, pulmonary tuberculosis, potanesthetic expectorant failure.
Contra-indications This drug is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of active or inactive ingredients.
Precautions Patients with coagulation. Patients with severe hepatic or renal disorder.
Side effects Eruption, reddening may occasionally occur. If these reactions occur, medication should be discontinued promptly. Diarrhea, occasionally anorexia, gastric malaise, nausea or vomiting may occur. Rarely bleeding tendency (nasal bleeding, blood phlegm) may occur. The physician should be informed any side effects during the treatment with drug.
Drug interaction Patients on anticoagulant therapy should be observed carefully because of possible potentiation of the anticoagulant effect by this drug.
Pharmacology and characteristics Inhibition of inflammatory oedema and alleviation of postoperative or traumatic swelling. Acceleration of tissue delivery in the administration of antibiotic and chemotherapeutic agents. Acceleration of dissolution and expectoration of sputum or pus phlegm. Cleansing and disinfection of the focus.
Dosage and Administration One tablet three times daily after meals.
Shelf-life 18 months.
Storage Store in a dry and cool place (15 C - 25 C). Protect from light. Keep out of reach of children.
