Properties ENDX-G cream is a well absorbed dermatomycosis agent containing antifungal, antibiotic agent and corticosteroid. Econazole nitrate in ENDX-G is a broad spectrum antigungal agent with activity against many gram positive bacteria. Triamcinolone acetonide in ENDX-G is a potent corticosteroid with anti-inflammatory, antipruritic and antiallergic activity. Gentamicin sulfate in ENDX-G is wide spectrum antibiotic which provides highly effective treatment in primary and secondary bacterial infections of the skin.
Composition: Each gram cream contains: Active ingredients: Econazole nitrate 10 mg Triamcinolone acetonide 1 mg Gentamicin sulfate 1 mg (potency) Inactive ingredients: Stearyl alcohol, cetanol, liquid paraffin, propylene glycol, methyl paraben, propyl paraben, citric acid, sorbitan monostearate, polysorbate 60, purified water.
Indications For the topical treatment of inflammatory dermatomycoses and inflammatory skin conditions complicated by bacterial or fungal skin infection: . Allergic inflammatory dermatoses (eczema, dermatitis, diaper dermatitis, intertrigo, etc.) . Trichopytosis: tinea pedium, tinea corporis, tinea capitis, tinea sycosis. . Tinea versicolor. . Skin candidiasis. . Bacterial skin infections caused by susceptible strains to gentamicin.
Dosage & administration Apply to the affected area 1 ~ several times daily
Contraindications 1. Patients with a history of hypersensitivity to any of the components of this preparation. 2. It should not be used on tubercular or luetic skin infections or in viral diseases (e.g. herpes, vaccinia, varicella) 3. Patients who have previously exhibited hypersensitivity to aminoglycoside antibiotics and bacitracin. 4. In case of perforated earbrum 5. Ulcer (Bezet’s disease), frostbite.
Side effects Transient local mild irritation at the application site has been reported. Hypersensitivity has rarely been reported. Discontinuation of therapy usually results in cessation of the symptoms. Inform your doctor in case of any adverse reactions related to drug use.
Precautions 1.Long-term continuous steroid therapy should be avoided since adrenal suppression can occur, particularly when occlusive dressings are applied. In addition, long term therapy with corticosteroids can cause skin lesions such as atrophy, telangiectasia and striae. 2.The overgrowth of nonsusceptible organisms, including fungi, occasionally occurs with the use of topical antibiotics. If this occurs, or if irritation, sensitization, or superinfection develops, treatment with ENDX-G should be discontinued and appropriate therapy instituted. 3.In cases of known sensitivity to propylene glycol, they should consult podiatrist or physician before treatment. 4.ENDX-G should not be administered during pregnancy unless the possible risks involved have been carefully considered. 5.Introduction of the product into the eye should be avoided.
Storage: Tight container, at room temperature.
Use term: 36 months from manufacturing date. Do not use if the drug is out of date
