An interview with Nguyen Viet Hung, project development director of ICA Biotechnological & Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company, about its road map for the development after the company officially announced its conversion from a limited liability company into a joint stock company.
What advantages and difficulties has ICA had? How significant is this conversion to ICA?
First of all, it is possible to say that this is our pride. Listing shares on the stock market is an opportunity to mobilize capital and technologies in order to boost ICA’s new community service projects. This is also a springboard for ICA to get listed on the regional stock exchange in early 2008.
With the dynamism, a clear strategy and a simple management model of a private enterprise, we are confident that we will attract the interest of investors. However, the main difficulty is the pressure on the company leaders to ensure the expectations of local and foreign investors.
