ICA Vietnam Pharmaceutical Co.'s plant in Binh Duong. The ICA Vietnam Pharmaceutical Company will launch Adagrin, an equivalent to the US’ Viagra, in early March.
Research began with Sildenafil in 2000 after the Ministry of Health licenced ICA to import sildenafil citrate for development.
The firm plans to provide the new performance enhancer for around VND60,000 (US$4) per tablet, available only with a doctor’s prescription.
ICA, which has capital of US$12mil, put its factory in the Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Zone in the southern province of Binh Duong into operation in early 2002.
